Very early signs of pregnancy can be very confusing as some may be false signals or just symptoms of a late period.
Some women know what to expect when getting a period.
So as soon as something is different from the usual they know there is something that may need further investigation.
Some women may experience all the early pregnancy symptoms while others may only experience a few.
It will take approximately a week for a fertilised egg to implant in the uterus.
Once this occurs, your hormone levels begin to change and the body adapts and reacts with these new hormone patterns.
This can cause cramping and other symptoms like weepiness and depression or light headedness
Here are some very early pregnancy symptoms and signs that can occur in the first trimester:
- Constipation: In early pregnancy, you may notice a change in your bowels. Your intestines become relaxed and function less because of the hormones changing.
- Fatigue: You may experience yourself having a lack of energy and feeling tired. These are related to the changing hormones in the body.
- Cramping: Very often the uterus can contract. Exercise, moving around and even orgasm can all trigger cramping during early pregnancy.
- Darker Areolas: After conceiving, the area around the nipple becomes darker after one week.
- Missing Period: This is one of the most obvious early pregnancy symptoms. However, when you miss a period it does not always mean that you are pregnant. It could be because of stress, illness, hormone imbalance, reactions to food and effects of medications. Possibly, if your period is always very regular then missing a period could be a sign that you are pregnant.
- Light Spotting: Once you conceive, spotting occurs when implantation happens before your period begins. Pregnancy bleeding from implantation is either pinkish or brown and not very heavy.
- Frequent Trips To The Toilet: Urinating more often than usual is an obvious pregnancy sign. Women may experience more frequent trips to the ladies room even before a missed period. It usually occurs from about 6-10 days after the temperature rise at ovulation. Frequent urination is caused by changes in hormone levels which are produced by implantation of the embryo.
Once you have experienced the very early signs, you can do your own pregnancy test before confirming with a doctor whether you are pregnant or not. Take good care of your body even before you conceive, by eating healthily and exercising regularly. The first trimester of your pregnancy it is important to look after your health and well being to support a healthy development for your baby and take full enjoyment of the whole experience.
Hi folks, Did anyone here experience frequent braxton hicks contractions, and how much longer did you stay pregnant? I’m 35 weeks tomorrow, and for the past few days have been getting several BH per hour, and everytime I stand up and walk around. I’m in touch with the docs, and my cervix was still long when they checked last week, but I’m hoping to stay pregnant another 3 weeks, at least. Anyone experience anything like this ? Did you do anything that made them go away or ease up ?
